Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #36

Can Wonder Woman find hope in this situation?

Jason has betrayed Diana and now Darkseid's plans are coming together but she might still have an ally to depend on.

Well, this worked a little better.

James Robinson is about conclude his story by delivering a chapter where he focuses on several segments. The scenes between Diana, Jason and Grail were decently executed aside from a few awkward lines, although at times makes me wonder why Jason changes his heart so constantly. The inevitable fight between Diana and Darkseid was pretty solid and even presents a shocking reveal towards the end.

My favorite segments were the ones focusing on Steve and his personal mission with some Waller's prisoners and it makes sense since Robinson has always been good at handling supporting casts and I'm glad they're still exploring more of WW's villains.

Carlo Pagulayan's artwork is gorgeous, fantastic looking characters and strong storytelling.

Not bad, let's see how it ends.
