Some thoughts about Harley Quinn #29

Harley's political career is going to be harder than expected.

The Mayor is not going to accept any competition and is ready to get rid of Harley no matter the cost or consequences.

Fun stuff going on.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner deliver a new installment where they focus on the current story of Harley trying to become Mayor. The corruption of the current Mayor gets more and more evident with each new story which presents interesting challenges for the heroine and some of them are particularly compelling like the inclusion of a villain like the Scarecrow (although I wish their encounter would have been about their psychiatric backgrounds).

This wouldn't be a Harley Quinn issue without the classic humour and crazy adventure and this issue offers everything including the typical hallucination segment that you should expect at this point.

Mirka Andolfo and Tom Derenick handle the main segment while Michael Kaluta draws the hallucination part, they all do a pretty solid job although the best is Andolfo by far.

Enjoyable, really excited for the next one, especially because of that cliffhanger.
