Some thoughts about Deathstroke #24

Deathstroke's life as a hero is getting more complicated.

Slade's team is trying to deal with one another while their leader is slowly falling for his own tendencies and things are going to get worse once that he meets old friends.

Another entertaining issue as usual.

Christopher Priest continues his story about Deathstroke's Teen Titans by fully focusing on character development. The progression for most of the cast is pretty solid due to the constant dilemma that Slade has to face about his idea of heroes and villains which contrasts nicely with Kid Flash's idealism. The rest of the characters also get solid scenes including one between Rose and Terra that seems to hint that the latter has some of her... old dynamic with Slade back.

The plot also progresses at a nice pace and explores the classic themes that you should expect while showing interesting twists here and there.

Diogenes Neves remains in pencils and his work is still quite strong with expressive characters and clear storytelling.

Really solid chapter, excited for the next one.
