Some thoughts about Red Hood & the Outlaws #13

Are Red Hood and the Outlaws finished?

Bizarro's life is about to end and both Jason and Artemis are trying to deal with that fact. Although Lex Luthor might have a solution for their problems.

This little storyarc has become much more interesting.

For one, Scott Lobdell continues this entertaining book by delivering the kind of character work that you would expect. The interactions between the members of the cast is satisfying as usual thanks to the emotional moments the story provides which creates a greater connection between the protagonists and Bizarro which of course makes his fate much more relevant.

Not only that but Lobdell actually addresses the history between Lex and Bizarro based on the events during Forever Evil and creates a connection between the two of them while showing how Luthor actually can have a heart behind all his ego. All of this culminates in a quite intriguing and hilarious final page.

Dexter Soy's artwork is amazing being able to deliver different styles depending on the segments and all of them tell the story perfectly.

Great stuff, one of my favorite reads this week.
