Some thoughts about Hawkeye #9

Hawkeye will have to prove that she's more than what her father wants.

Kate is trying to save one of her new clients while dealing with her most recent encounter with her father and the ramifications that might bring to her and her friends.

The story continues and in a pretty satisfying manner.

Kelly Thompson delivers a new chapter where she continues immediately after the last one ended. I might sound like a broken record at this point but is always a joy to listen the voice that Thompson gives to Kate, really appropriate, natural and funny which makes even the most serious moments like surviving a fight enjoyable. The funny lines always help to make every situation much more entertaining.

The plot itself progresses at a nice pace while the new case that Kate handles presents solid parallels with her own situation with her father and the inner conflict she faces makes her whole character development much more complex.

Leonardo Romero is in charge of art duties and his work is equally as good thanks to his clean and detailed style that depicts expressive characters and strong storytelling.

Quite good read, hope this continues for a long time.
