Some thoughts about Generations Wolverine & All-New Wolverine #1

The Wolverines are finally going to meet again.

Logan is trying to save his daughter from an army of nijas but he wasn't expecting the aid of a mysterious woman connected to him.

First of all, I wasn't aware at all of the premise of Generations and so I didn't understand it at first nor knew what to expect.

Second, this was quicker to follow and much more awesome than I imagined.

Tom Taylor continues his run on the character of Laura by creating an encounter between her and Logan. The character work is fantastic due that the writer understands perfectly how both Wolverines are and how different they are from each other but at the same time showcases the strong connection that exist between the two and how much they care for each other.

The plot itself is pretty simple but plays with classic Wolverine themes about how Logan only deals with his problems in the most blunt way possible instead of handling them carefully and this is explored in several manners which is especially clear once that this is reflected in his family which culminates in many touching moments between Laura and him.

Ramon Rosanas handles the art and is really solid with clear storytelling, clean style and appealing character models.

Quite great stuff, possibly one of the best things Taylor has done for the character.
