Some thoughts about Gotham Academy: Second Semester #8

Is Olive ready to face her fate?

Olive's mind has been completely overtaken for the influence of her past and is up to her friends and Batman to try to save her.

Conclusion of the storyline and a satisfying one at that.

Becky Cloonan, Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl being the final chapter of this arc by finally bringing resolution, or at least a resolution to Olive's character arc. The characterization is once again pretty solid thanks to the great portrayals of the different members of the cast, the best part is the emotions that Olive's friends show demonstrating how much they care about here which is pretty believable based on their history in the series.

Plus, there are more scenes exploring Olive's past as well as unveiling a little mystery that has been keeping the team busy for a while and also delivering an interesting set-up for the sadly final storyarc of this book.

Adam Archer and Msassyk handle the artwork and is pretty solid with a lot of vibrant tones during the supernatural scenes while being able to depict great expressions for the characters.

Quite entertaining, sad this is about to finish.
