Some thoughts about The Flash #20

The Flash will soon learn that one of his loved ones has joined his enemies.

Iris has just infiltrated Black Hole to learn more about their activities but she won't get all the answers she's looking for.

Well, this issue took an interesting twist.

Joshua Williamson brings a new chapter where he focuses on Iris this time and how competent she can be as a reporter. This by itself is a nice change of pace since it gives the spotlight to a character that barely gets that kind of attention but Williamson also manages to get a fun story between Barry and her and how they relationship is progressing over the course of the story.

That being said, that is not the most surprising aspect here since the writer plays with readers' expectation based on the cover itself, is very misguiding since one would initially think that Iris has joined Black Hole but that's far from the truth, that happened to other person actually.

Neil Googe handles the artwork and is really solid thanks to his fluid style that gets the best from the action scenes.

Solid installment, can't wait to see more of this development.
