Some thoughts about Cave Carson has a Cybernetic Eye #7

Cave Carson will need to gain inspiration in one of his worst moments.

After being unconscious due to the last attack, Cave can't help but start to remember the time he saved Superman's life and maybe that could encourage him to keep going.

Thankfully I was wrong last time I covered this book, this title is not over yet and is for the better.

Gerard Way and Jon Rivera finally deliver the story about the team-up between Cave Carson and Superman and is surprisingly good. Sure, this book has been pretty solid but this particular tale takes it to higher places. The way how the writers explored Cave's past makes it reminiscent of some of the old stories featuring the character which are quite fitting to its old sci-fi style.

However, the best part comes when they handled Superman since it brings several on-point aspects of the character that most people can agree with, about how Superman has to face the challenge of being himself everyday and doesn't do it for any reward whatsoever which understandably gives Cave the motivation to go on so is also perfectly integrated into the plot.

Michael Avon Oeming handles the artwork is once again quite distinctive thanks to his flexible style that delivers really creative visuals during the dream sections.

Pretty good read, hope things keep this way.
