Some thoughts about Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #14

The Green Lantern Corps will need to search for hope in the universe.

John Stewart believes that they need to stop some of the most dangerous members of the Sinestro Corps. Meanwhile, Hal and Kyle will have to save an old friend.

A new arc opens and is so far as enjoyable as the last one.

Robert Venditti presents a new storyline where he developes some of the old plot-points that have been ignored for a while like what happened to rest of the Sinestro Corps now that their leader is gone and most importantly, what happened to Saint Walker. This issue creates several plot-thread that will most likely continue to be developed in upcoming chapters.

The characterization remains solid with a lot of the members of the cast receiving their deserved time in the spotlight. John proves to be a much more appropriate leader for the Corps, Hal and Kyle's relationship becomes stronger and Guy is just as entertaining as ever.

Oh, and the writer reintroduces Space Cabbie to the DCU which should be appreciated by everyone.

Rafa Sandoval returns to pencils and his work is still quite vibrant, full of beautiful characters and detailed scenarios.

Quite enjoyable and makes me excited for the next one.
