Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #6

The Dark Trinity is finally united.

Black Mask has been controlling Bizarro for a while but there might be some side effects of that and Jason will to use them in his favor to win.

This is as satisfying as a conclusion as I could have hoped for and more.

Scott Lobdell brings the final chapter of his initial storyline by delivering great character segments for each and every member of the cast. Jason being the protagonist obviously gets some of the best scenes being either in terms of action or development but Artemis and Bizarro also receive some interesting and in some cases, charming moments. Even Black Mask proved to be an entertaining antagonist during the whole arc.

One of the best parts of this issue was how the relationship between Jason and Bruce is depicted since once again, Lobdell focuses more on the paternal and human side of Bruce whenever he has a conversation with Jason delivering heartwarming scenes between the two.

Dexter Soy continues to shine in art duties by creating great settings and character models with a dark, yet expressive style.

Excellent installment, one of the best.
