Some thoughts about Midnighter and Apollo #4

Midnighter's mission to save Apollo continues.

Neron has been trying to obtain Apollo's soul one way or another and he might be close to do so unless Midnighter acts fast.

This was better than the last issue I believe but there are a few problems.

For one, the characterization that Steve Orlando gives to the protagonists is pretty on-point. Apollo finally gets some well-deserved moments to shine by revealing some of his backstory and that influenced to become the person he is now. Midnighter on the other hand, just need to show how badass he is during the multiple fights he endures.

However, I feel like there isn't a lot of plot here. There's the dilemma between Apollo and Neron and how they have to fight for the former's soul but aside from that there isn't much to say about the story itself and for that reason the chapter seems lacking in content.

Fernando Blanco's artwork continues to be adequate at depicting the kinetic nature of the action scenes while showing solid personal moments.

Decent issue character-wise but it needs more story in it.
