Some thoughts about Justice League #4

The Justice League has no chance.

One by one, the greatest heroes of Earth are falling and they will soon realize that things are just going to get worse.

Welp, yet another issue from this underwhelming series.

Bryan Hitch tries to give this chapter some weight by using his usual widescreen sensibilities to bring big moments and those segments are fine enough but they don't manage to be that impressive. The characterization is decent but again, is not great since it doesn't explore interesting aspects about their personalities aside from the usual.

The plot is just the usual big threat that comes to the world and can take on the whole team and while the writing wants to present them as a huge deal, they're not really compelling since they don't have a personality at all.

Jesus Merino is in charge of the art and is serviceable with adequate character models and action scenes.

And yes, this is pretty much serviceable. Is not terrible but it feels like a poor man's superhero event that doesn't leave you a lasting impression.
