Some thoughts about Green Lanterns #6

The Green Lanterns will have to defeat their own fears to save the world.

Jessica is still suffering from her anxiety while Simon tries to regain the little strength he has while the Red Lanterns continue their attacks and there might not be a chance to survive.

I... just don't know why I keep bothering.

Sam Humpries brings the final chapter of his arc and is pretty much the same as since the Rebirth issue: Overwritten and unnatural narration and forced characterization. Mind you, the characterization is not so forced this time since the writer actually makes both Simon and Jess finally come to an agreement but it makes it even more painfully obvious how unnecessary the previous conflict was.

The way how the story ends is not particularly interesting either, the Red Lantern just leave that's all and then Humphries prepares for the next story which is not really promising at this point.

Will Conrad and Jack Herbert share art duties and their overall work is pretty consistent with a clean and vibrant style full of expressive characters.

Still not worth your time considering there are much better Rebirth titles.
