Some thoughts about Earth 2: Society #16

The Ultra-Humanite's powers are limitless now.

Alan has been possessed by his enemy and now he's threatening each one of his friends and the only way to save themselves is by sacrificing everything.

Well, this issue opened a lot of questions.

Dan Abnett delivers the final chapter of his story about the Ultra-Humanite to focus mainly on the conflict and how the Wonders don't know what to do. The character work is pretty solid with some of them, especially Oliver Queen, demonstrating a few good scenes that demonstrate perfectly how competent they are.

The most intriguing part comes at the end though when the heroes start falling one by one and they have no choice but making a desperate action and what will follow from this is still a mystery.

Angel Hernandez handles the artwork and he appropriately has a similar style as Jorge Jimenez with a semi-cartoony and vibrant tone that creates good expressions for the characters.

This felt like a bit of a rushed ending but at least made me interested in what's going to happen next.
