Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #4

Is Wonder Woman ready to face the rest of the world?

Steve Trevor has just arrived to Themiscyra and they believe that he's the key to find their enemy. Now is up to Diana to try to learn more about him and discover her true mission.

What can I say? I still enjoy the hell out of this.

Greg Rucka delivers a new chapter focused on Diana's past where he continues to explore more about the world of Themiscyra and how their civilization works. The writing style fits the kind of mythological world the writer tries to portray and the characters as well, despite that they act in such different manners, they're still quite sympathetic and likable.

The story itself progresses nicely with the mystery behind Themiscyra's enemy being slowly revealed and the theme of the issue being very reminiscent of Wonder Woman's classic origins by making her earn her role as the respresentative of the Amazons.

Nicola Scott handles the artwork and is stunning, beautiful characters everywhere with a great range of expressions and tons of detail for the environments.

Great read, this is my favorite story of the book.
