Some thoughts about Superman #5

The Eradicator continues to threaten Superman's family.

Clark, Lois and Jon have gone to the moon to protect themselves but nothing can stop the Eradicator. However, they might find a way to defeat him there.

Hey, this is actually much better than previous issues.

Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason bring a new chapter where they continue to focus on the family dynamics and action scenes, credit where credit is due, this worked in a more effective way here. The characterization is pretty solid with Clark and the rest of the cast acting in a logical way after everything that has happened while also showing how much they care for one another.

The good moments don't stop here since the fight segments are well-executed with Lois finally showing some badass moments and also exploring more of the nature of the Eradicator's powers.

All of this is wonderfully depicted by Doug Mahnke who manages to interpret each scene perfectly with a pretty good storytelling skill and a great attention to detail.

Definitely solid, more like this please.
