Some thoughts about Justice League #3

Is this the Justice League's last stand.

The world's last hope is Superman due that each hero is being defeated by the recently arrived creatures. However, not even him might be enough.

I know I promised I wouldn't keep covering this title but I was curious enough to give it a check and while is getting a bit better, is still far from ideal.

Bryan Hitch continues his Justice League story by bringing a new chapter that focus on his classic widescreen style that gives the premise a much bigger scope. This is not bad per se since it manages to make the story feel like a huge blockbuster movie but the content is still not that interesting. The premise about giant beings absorbing superheroes to gain their powers is not really compelling but the presentation tries to make it look like it.

The characterization can be a bit of a mixed bag with the writer trying to give Superman and Lois some solid moments but the fact that they're pretending this might be Clark's end is a bit ridiculous considering the things he has faced in the past. Plus, some of them act in weird ways like Lois blaming Batman if anything bad happens to Clark. It just doesn't seem right.

Tony Daniel remains in art duties and is the best aspect of this book. He was born to draw a book like this due to his compelling action scenes, beautiful styles and sense of scope.

Yeah, I still don't think this is not worth being invested into but is not as bad as before at least.
