Some thoughts about The Flash #5

The Speedsters are starting to take over Central City.

Barry is trying to enjoy the fact that he has more help now but he won't have enough to relax since Godspeed is still trying to get all of their power for himself.

Good to know that the story keeps progressing.

Joshua Williamson brings a new installment where he focuses on the dynamic between all the Speedsters who appear here. We see more of Barry's relationship with Meena as well as how she starts connecting to Wally by teaching him how to handle his abilities and for the most part this is pretty well-done and makes you learn more about each character. Even the other conversations between Barry and the rest of the cast are executed effectively.

There's also a lot content. Several segments focused on many of the protagonists while delivering enough time to explore more about the threat of Godspeed.

I have a few complaints though, and they're based on the romantic sections. I think the relationship between Barry and Meena progressed a bit too fast (Yes, they're Speedsters but come on) while Williamson tries to make an argument about how Barry and Iris' relationship "never works" which... is not the case at all.

Felipe Watanabe handles the artwork and is beautiful. He's able to depict characters' expressions perfectly and draws the kinetic action scenes nicely.

Solid overall aside from some nitpicks. Hope that the identity of Godspeed is revealed soon though.
